Last week I had a chance to talk with Dhani Harrison and Oli Hecks, of thenewno2.
They were both great and it turns out Dhani got his puppy from a breeder in Riverside.
Growing up as friends in England, the pair discovered they both learned how to play guitar and drums by listening to Led Zeppelin and after years of jamming out, decided to make their own music.
The result is the full LP “You Are Here,” which is one of the most interesting albums I’ve heard in a while. If you pick it up, it’s definitely a headphones kind of record–but not earbuds, you need real big headphones for it.
Harrison and Hecks both hope the record gets people thinking for themselves.
