AUDIO FILES: Listen to the ‘Ghostbusters’ soundtracks

The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in “Ghostbusters.” (Sony PIctures)

Is there a better movie about ghosts than “Ghostbusters”? I think not. I also have a Stay-Puft spot in my heart for “Ghostbusters II” and the pink goo.

I’m still in the Halloween spirit, so here are the songs from the two films.

Up first is Ray Parker Jr.’s classic “Ghostbusters.” I actually owned his album “Chartbusters” on vinyl. Back then, the album cover was clearly a nod to the “Ghostbusters” logo. Now, I just keep thinking “Why does Ray Parker Jr. equate himself with smoking?”

However, sometimes you need to bust out Bobby Brown’s rap from “On Our Own” from “Ghostbusters II,” like my cubicle neighbor and esteemed iGuide colleague Timothy Guy and I did this morning.

Anyone else remember it?
