I’ve got too much (clap clap) time on my hands. Actually, that’s a total lie–this week has been really busy with regular music news, plus helping out on election night. However, I can’t get that Styx song out of my head.
There are so many amazing things (AND HAIR!) happening in this video I don’t know where to begin.
Speaking of Styx, Dennis DeYoung, who sang lead on a bunch of Styx songs (but not that one), will bring the music of his former band to the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside in March 2013.
He also sang lead on two of the greatest Styx songs ever. Obvs, “Come Sail Away” is one of them, or “South Park” wouldn’t have recorded it.
I will apologize in advance for the number of times I talk about the following song in the coming months.
