I need to send a little love and strength out into the world today.
A dear friend of mine back home is undergoing three surgeries between today and tomorrow. She is a real-life Wonder Woman who has knocked down cancer every time it’s come her way and I know she’ll kick more butt this week.
Since I can’t be there, I want to send some positive vibes her way. One of her favorite bands is Bon Jovi, which also happens to be one of my favorite bands. Yes, I have featured them in the Audio Files before, but you can never have enough Bon Jovi.
Here’s hoping Johns Hopkins is giving her “Good Medicine” today.
And while this next song is about surviving a more literal breakup, I would like her cancer to walk out the door because it is not welcome.
