In the aftermath of the untimely death of Suicide Silence singer Mitch Lucker, who died Nov. 1 after a Halloween motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach, the band has made a statement about the Monster Outbreak Tour, which was to include Suicide Silence and have a date at California Metalfest VI in San Bernardino on Saturday, Nov. 24.

The band posted on its Facebook page Tuesday that they would not be participating in the tour.

“As many of you surely expected, we’re no longer taking part in the upcoming Outbreak Tour. That being said, we encourage all of you to still attend and support our friends. Additionally, we’d like to thank the organizers, promoters, and artists involved with the tour for their willingness to donate a portion of the earnings to Kenadee Lucker’s Education Fund. It means a lot to us.”

The tour will continue with Asking Alexandria, As I Lay Dying, Memphis May Fire and Attila. I See Stars was also added to the bill.

A portion of the proceeds from tickets and official tour T-shirts will go to the Kenadee Lucker Education Fund. Kenadee is Lucker’s 5-year-old daughter.

The band also posted that “R.I.P. Mitch Lucker” bracelets are available for $10 and all of the proceeds will also go to Kenadee’s Education Fund. These are in addition to the official T-shirts the band is selling that also benefit the fund.
