Today’s edition of the Audio Files is a special one. This whole week is actually a pretty great one. I marked my move to California six years ago earlier this week and today is another anniversary.
I married Charming Husband in San Diego three years ago at the Museum of Photographic Arts and threw a dance party all of our friends still talk about.
The music was the most difficult thing to select for the day. We didn’t have a DJ, just my iPod and a PA system and meticulously crafted playlists.
The processional was scored by The Beatles’ “Here, There and Everywhere” off “Revolver.”
And our first dance was to the Old 97’s “Question.” We’ve seen the Old 97’s and Rhett Miller solo quite a bit and since the song is about a proposal, Charming Husband used it to propose, too.
