On Saturday, Dec. 8, Alien Ant Farm will join the Riverside City College Studio Orchestra at the Landis Performing Arts Center for “Here Comes SANTa,” a mix of Alien Ant Farm classics and holiday music.

Joe Hill, who played on Alien Ant Farm’s “Up in the Attic” record and is currently a member of The Executive Bigfoot, will be performing with the band for the show.

Alien Ant Farm’s original and current guitarist Terry Corso is on the mend after a recent hospital stay and a couple of surgeries. Rather than cancel the show, the band asked Hill (who you might also remember from Spiderworks) to join. Corso said he is hoping to feel well enough to join the band for a few songs, too.

Tickets are $12.50 and are already on sale at www.landispac.com or www.tickets.com. They will be $15 at the show.

You can also pick them up by phone at 951-222-8100 or in person at the box office Tuesday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m or one hour before the concert.

If you want to know more about the concert and how Metallica helped inspire it, here’s an interview with Terry from a couple of weeks ago about it.

I’m wishing nothing but the speediest of recoveries to Terry.
