AUDIO FILES: Listen to The LeeVees, Guster

The LeeVees made Hanukkah songs that rock. (File Photo)

Tonight is the first night of Hanukkah and it’s only appropriate to feature a Hanukkah song for today’s Audio Files. The LeeVees put out a great album, 2005’s “Hanukkah Rocks,” which brought some much-needed power pop love to the holiday. Here’s my favorite song off the album, titled “How Do You Spell Channukkahh?”

One of the band’s members is Adam Gardner of Boston’s Guster.

If you haven’t Guster live, do it. They’re really fun.

“Careful” is one of my favorite songs from the band. I really love the vocals on it.

However, I think “Fa Fa” might be the most recognizable song from the band.

Want more holiday music? The artists I’ve been featuring this month are listed under the disturbing Wham! photo.

Wham! The other outtakes from the “Last Christmas” single are even more disturbing. (Contributed Image)
