Banda queen Jenni Rivera, a former Corona resident, is missing after her plane is suspected to have crashed in Mexico Sunday morning, CNN is reporting.

Rivera, who owned a home in Corona before moving to Encino, is an incredibly popular Mexican-American singer who routinely performed at Inland casinos.

CNN reported that the plane lost contact with air traffic controllers mid-flight. It took off from Monterrey, Mexico, where she performed Saturday night, at 3:15 a.m. and the plane lost contact about 60 miles away.

Mexico’s transportation ministry said in a statement that two pilots and and four other passengers are also missing, according to CNN.

Rivera also showcased her family on the reality show “I Love Jenni” on Mun2. It followed the star balancing her home and work lives.
