I don’t remember why this ever came up, but every holiday I think about the time my best friend said something along the lines of, “Well, it just isn’t Christmas until my mother takes the Johnny Mathis Christmas record out.”
I suspect he’s not the only one who feels this way.
And as I’m working on the finishing touches on my Christmas trees, I think “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” seems the most appropriate.
My personal favorite is this classic, “It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”
