On Dec. 21, the metal community paid tribute to Suicide Silence’s Mitch Lucker at the Fox Theater in Pomona.
The concert featured the Riverside-rooted metal band with a vocal carousel of some of the biggest names in metal, including Randy Blythe of Lamb of God, Max Calavera of Soulfly/Sepultura, Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria and Robb Flynn of Machine Head, among more than a dozen others.
Lucker died Nov. 1 after a Halloween motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach. The concert was a benefit for the education of his young daughter, Kenadee.
Suicide Silence announced via Facebook that the night would be filmed for a special DVD and warned fans that outside cameras wouldn’t be allowed. However, some fans did share the performances from the night via social media. I’ve collected a few below the setlist according to the Alternative Press recap.
