Times Square will get some Murrieta love tonight on “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.”

Neon Trees, whose singer, Tyler Glenn, and guitarist, Chris Allen, hail from Murrieta, will be one of the acts on the show.

There will be a retrospective of the late Dick Clark before the show starts. It will be hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Find out what other NYE specials are happening over at Timothy Guy’s Movies and TV blog.

2012 has been a huge year for Neon Trees, with the release of sophomore album “Picture Show,” a huge hit with “Everybody Talks,” a major TV commercial, a performance at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade and so much more.

2013 will be another big year for the band, which will open in arenas throughout the U.S. on Maroon 5’s tour.

If they do play “Everybody Talks” tonight, you might want to learn the dance, which Glenn and Elaine Bradley demonstrate in this video, accompanied by hilarious spoken word narration from Branden Campbell. Cheers!
