Huell Howser (KCET/Hower Prooduction Company)
I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Huell Howser today. The “California’s Gold” host brought a lot of smiles and knowledge to me, especially when I first moved to California six years ago.
He also visited the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival back in 2008, and has been the only outside film crew to document the festival.
The Coachella episode featured an interview with Goldenvoice’s Paul Tollett, a look at the catering department and even a segment in that year’s iconic art installation, the “Steampunk Treehouse.”
