Local Natives
Local Natives have been on my Coachella 2013 predictions list since last year, but on Twitter, reader Ryan Walbridge thinks they are likely for a Friday, April 12 and Friday, April 19 slot with the new tour dates the band posted that have them in Nevada on April 13 and Tucson, Monday April 15.
The band has been getting a lot of favorable buzz for forthcoming release “Hummingbird.”

Ben Howard
On Twitter, reader RJ Thomps passed on information on Ben Howard: “@benhowardmusic: We’re heading back to San Francisco and Vancouver in April! http://www.benhowardmusic.co.uk/live ” @vanessafranko #coachella2013″
He has a date scheduled for April 14th at the Fillmore in San Francisco.

Thanks to the readers who have contributed and sent ideas in so far. I have more to get to, but I just ran out of time today, including Tame Impala and The XX.

I’ve covered the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and the Stagecoach Country Music Festival since 2007. All of the Coachella prediction posts here are tagged with Coachellaology.
