Rapper Sean Forbes is performing a special show at the California School for the Deaf-Riverside on Feb. 1.
Forbes, whose new album “Perfect Imperfection” is getting a national re-release this spring, is a deaf rapper who also co-founded nonprofit group D-PAN, The Deaf Professional Arts Network, which translates popular artists’ songs into American Sign Language music videos for the deaf and hard-of-hearing communities.
Forbes’ videos have a sense of humor and he draws influence from artists as diverse as the Beastie Boys and Bob Dylan.
