Last week the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival lineup was announced when the festival Tweeted/posted to Facebook and their website the official poster for 2013.
Bonnaroo, which takes place in Manchester, Tenn. in June, is taking a different tack. They’ve enlisted the services of Weird Al Yankovic.
I’m really hoping he does some Weird Al versions of songs from the bands he will be announcing. For all of those unknown bands, he can do one of his Weird Al polkas. It would be rad.
The announcement will be streaming for one hour, although it’s unclear as to when it will start. (Originally Bonnaroo listed three hours).
Music festival fans out there–do you prefer the Coachella method of letting the lineup speak for itself with the release of a poster or the theatrics of Bonnaroo?
