Dubbed “Music’s Biggest Night,” the 55th annual Grammy Awards took place in Los Angeles on Sunday, Feb. 10 and one of the winners hails from the Inland Empire.

Chauncey Hollis, better known as Hit-Boy, was one of the writers of the Jay-Z and Kanye West hit “N****s In Paris,” from their Watch the Throne album. The song took the Best Rap Song honors at Sunday’s pre-telecast awards ceremony.

Shawn Carter (a.k.a. Jay-Z), Mike Dean, Hollis and West were credited as the songwriters.

Hollis grew up in Fontana and has done production work for some of the biggest artists in the business, including Eminem, Snoop Dogg, Jennifer Lopez and even Justin Bieber.
