There’s a big festival happening at the Empire Polo Club in Indio and it’s not the one you’re probably thinking of.
The Rhythm, Wine and Brews Fest returns to the site on Feb. 23 with blues legend B.B. King.
Paul Thorn, Penny University and Alex A and the Fermented are also performing.
In addition to the music, the festival includes wines from all over California and now beer tasting will also be part of the event. A number of regional breweries will be featured in the tasting garden.
A general admission pass is $75 and includes seven tastings, a general admission pass to the show, free parking and a souvenir tasting glass. VIP admission is $175 and nets you seven tastings, reserved seating with a chair you get to take home with you after the show, free parking, a VIP entrance, souvenir tasting glass and a poster.
Children 12 and under get in for free. You have to be 21 or older, with ID to do any of the alcohol tastings.
