Country singer Mindy McCready was found dead in her Arkansas home on Sunday, Feb. 17. She was 37 years old.
She played in the Inland Region in 1997, opening up for Tim McGraw, a year after releasing her multi-platinum debut, “Ten Thousand Angels.”
McCready appeared on “Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew” and struggled with substance abuse and mental illness. Local sheriff’s authorities released a statement that said McCready apparently died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to CNN. She is survived by 6-year-old and 10-month-old sons.
