One of the things I absolutely love about my job is that I get to talk about music with people–whether they be fellow music fans or those creative masterminds who have found it to be their calling.

And as much as I love listening to music, there’s something about talking to people about the experiences, emotions, memories and all of those tangible and intangible forces that tie into how we feel and process music and human beings that is almost as much fun.

Recently, I had the pleasure of interviewing Aaron Lee and our conversation was a reminder of how lucky I am to get to ask people about the subject I love so much.

We talked about how the rootsy, genuine music of Aaron Lee and the Love Vigilantes came to be and why the band was packing up and heading to Nashville after a final pair of shows this weekend in Riverside.

You can read more about Aaron Lee and the Love Vigilantes’ upcoming move to Nashville over at the iGuide, but you have two more chances to catch the band before they say farewell to Riverside–the Inland Empire Brewing Company Beer and Food Festival today, Saturday Feb. 23, and a goodbye party/gas money fundraiser finale at Mario’s Place on Sunday, Feb. 24.
