Pappy & Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace has two shows well worth the drive to the desert this week.
Up first is Pappy and Harriet’s regular Gram Rabbit (the Joshua Tree-based band throws its annual Halloween ball at the venue) with Well Hung Heart on Friday, March 1.
General admission tickets are $10. You can pick them up online ahead of time at Ticketweb or at the door.
Then, if you are a power pop and punk fan, don’t miss Redd Kross on Saturday, March 2.
The band has been working with Burger Records out of Long Beach (who also put out Summer Twins’ impressive debut) and released Redd Kross’ most recent effort, “Researching the Blues,” on cassette. (That’s not a typo–they actually released it on a limited edition cassette.)
