RIVERSIDE: Dennis DeYoung, Pat Benatar headed to Fox

Have you ever wanted to see the man behind “Mr. Roboto” live? What about the original voice of “Come Sail Away”?

Friday, March 1, is your chance when Dennis DeYoung brings “The Music of Styx” to the Fox Performing Arts Center in Riverside.

DeYoung was a founding member of the group and performs the band’s biggest hits, including “Babe,” “Lady” and “Grand Illusion.”

John Waite, of The Babys, Bad English and his own venerable solo career, will open the show.

Then, on Thursday, March 7, Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo return to the Fox.

Expect to hear Benatar’s biggest hits, which include “Heartbreaker,” “Hit Me with Your Best Shot,” “Shadows of the Night” and the always-amazing “Love is a Battlefield.”

Quarterflash will open the show.
