A few weeks ago, the folks over at JESS3 made a fantastic Coachella 2013 infographic charting the Facebook likes of all of the artists against their billing on the poster.
I was thinking about it and it inspired me to map out the Facebook popularity of all of the artists playing the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
I took the location data from my original Coachella artist map with all of the 170-plus artists and then went through and calculated the Facebook likes for each artist. The Red Hot Chili Peppers pretty much crush everyone else, but I was interested in seeing if there were any trends geographically with popularity.
