One of the most anticipated albums of 2013 for me is the first new material from Alien Ant Farm in years.

It’s the Riverside-rooted band’s first release since reuniting with the original lineup a couple of years back. The band revealed that the title will be “Always and Forever” and has set up a PledgeMusic campaign to raise funds to finish and release the album.

From the band:

Your pledge is a pre-order of the new album, and directly contributes to the release process. With all that we have been through over the years as a band internally and with you our fans we want to give you something exclusive for your continued support and help release this record with us!

There’s also going to be a lot of cool interactive things for us to do with you guys as we continue to bang out the record and get closer to the release. Help us choose artwork designs, weigh in on the track order, and help decide what our next single will be and more!

Among the more unique pledge rewards are an autographed lyric book, a jam session (and dinner) with the band, a “Golden Ticket” that gets you into any Alien Ant Farm headlining show (that’s not a festival) for life.

You can even get your very own AAF acoustic house concert.

There are also more modest options, like $10 for the digital “Always and Forever” download and pledge updates, or $15 for the digital download plus a physical CD.

Visit www.pledgemusic.com/projects/alienantfarm for more information on the project and www.alienantfarm.com for more on the band.

And because this song has been following me around lately, here’s your Monday afternoon pick-me-up with “Movies.”
