Soul of the River has been cranking out great music (and giving it away for free to fans) for years.
The band (whose music ranges culls inspiration from jams, rock, alternative, funk and pop) is playing Bear Mountain on Saturday. The show is free, but you can also support the band, which is trying to raise money for a video for the song “Rider.”
Soul of the River has found a production company (with Maroon 5 and John Mayer credits) to film a video for “Rider,” but the band needs to raise a little bit of money to cover some of the production costs.
From the band:
“If you donate $15 towards our video we’ll mail you a signed copy of the album.
For $50 we’ll mail you an album, posters stickers a DVD, basically all the swag we have.
For $100 we’ll write and record a custom song for you, whatever you want, a jingle, a song for your girlfriend, a song making fun of your best friend, whatever.”
