The Postal Service, the indie electro group of Jimmy Tamborello and Ben Gibbard that is reuniting and playing the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, has announced more tour dates.

One of the new dates is the Fox Theater in Pomona on Monday, April 15. Tickets for the show go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 8.* Tickets are $35 for general admission and $45 for loge, both before fees. They will be on sale via Ticketmaster.
The band is releasing an expanded deluxe 10th anniversary edition of “Give Up,” its lone full-length release.
*CORRECTION: A previous version of this blog incorrectly had Wednesday, March 6 as the on-sale date.
There’s also a hilarious video on Funny or Die that is “outtake footage” from the 2002 auditions for The Postal Service. Warning: there is a little bit of strong language in this one. Personally, the Moby and Weird Al Yankovic auditions are my favorite.
Also, if you haven’t seen it, I took the location data from my original Coachella artist map with all of the 170-plus artists and then went through and calculated the Facebook likes for each artist. Click on the photo below to check it out.
