Ratt will perform a concert at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana on Sunday, March 24.

The band, which helped launch the Sunset Strip mania of big hair and big riffs on MTV in the 1980s, had hits with songs including “Round and Round” and “Way Cool Jr.”

The band is preparing to enter the studio this year to record a new album.

The concert will take place at 10 a.m. on the FanZone main stage. If you want to go to the show, you have to have a ticket NASCAR’s Auto Club 400, March 24. You can tickets at 1-800-944-7223 or online at www.autoclubspeedway.com.

Fun fact: Ratt once played with Poison at the DeAnza Theater (now Clark’s Nutritional Center) in downtown Riverside.

And now, let’s all travel back in time with the gem “Round and Round,” because right now I need a laugh and it has Milton Berle in drag.
