Ocean Hands is repping Temecula/Murrieta in the current stage of the Hard Rock Rising competition.
The band is a finalist in the San Diego battle of the bands. If they advance from their next performance round, which happens at the Hard Rock Café in San Diego on March 27, they will be in the global voting process.
The top 25 bands get looked over by industry people and the winner gets to perform in London at the Hard Rock Calling Festival.
Ocean Hands started less than a year ago, but the band is made up of four local college students who have been playing around the area, including at locales such as Flour Fusion in Lake Elsinore.
7 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, Hard Rock Café, 801 4th Ave., San Diego, free.
