The Riverside band Summer Twins is headed to Japan.

Sisters Chelsea and Justine Brown, who started the band, will be on a Japanese tour (with photographer Joy Newell).

The band actually released the stunning 2012 full-length record in Japan before it came out in the U.S., on IRMA Records. The record company connected the band with a clothing company called Carlife and Summer Twins modeled some of their clothes and for the brand’s 10th anniversary, Summer Twins will be playing their stores and some other shows.

The tour dates start March 29 in Tokyo and run through April 7. There’s even a performance in Riversides sister city of Sendai on the tour, too.

Congrats to Summer Twins and safe travels!

Here’s “I Will Love You” off their debut, which was one of my favorite albums of 2012.
