Earlier today I posted about the most popular question I’ve received about the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival–“Will Daft Punk play Coachella?”

Well, the folks at Pitchfork are saying, Daft Punk will not be doing the Coachella Festival and Pitchfork is attributing it to Daft Punk’s camp.
Cue the sad trombone.
Since I had five factors supporting Daft Punk at Coachella and five against it, I guess Pitchfork tips the scales in favor of no helmeted electronic awesomeness at Coachella 2013.
The Vevo page that fueled the latest round of speculation (it had April 12 listed as a date for Daft Punk in Indio) no longer has April 12 (or any tour dates) listed. I saw a few things out there about Vevo tour dates getting fed by other places. Anyone out there have knowledge on that?
Now we can all go back to guessing who will replace Lou Reed.
