I’m so happy to announce that PE Live is officially back!

If you’ve ever stumbled across this blog before (or you’re one of the amazing regular readers), I hope my passion for local music comes across. We have such an incredible talent pool here in the Inland Empire, I want the world to be able to see it.

Now, with the relaunch of our video series PE Live, I hope the world will.

Local artists have been stopping by The Press-Enterprise and performing acoustic sets for us and they’ve been answering some questions from yours truly.

I’m so happy to show off the first videos in the series, from the Murrieta-based experimental rockers On Being Human. They stopped by and performed two tracks from the new EP “eVe.” The band will be playing an EP release show at The Vault in Temecula on Saturday, March 30. You can read more about that in Friday’s edition of The Press-Enterprise.

Check out the interview and the performances “Unforgiving Sea” and “Chasing the Sun.”

Check out more from On Being Human at the band’s website, Facebook and Twitter. Be sure to check out their own YouTube page, which also has some amazing video game music covers and medleys.

Every week we’ll be adding new videos from Inland artists. Just today Master Splinter and the Shredders and The Paper Crowns came in to film. Other artists who have already stopped by include Walter Cabal, Castle Pines, Dose of Adolescence, Davis Fetter, Derrick Sanderlin and Science Fiction Theater.

Also, I want to give a big “Thank You” to the P-E video staff, particularly Angel Ortiz, who has been putting all of the footage together, and Pep Fernandez and David Zink, who helped out on shooting this one.
