Iron Maiden is going to headline the Rock In Rio festival in Brazil this year yet again, but it’s giving the iconic metal band an excuse to stop in the U.S. with its Maiden England tour for seven dates.
Iron Maiden comes to San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore on Friday, Sept. 13 for a headlining concert that will be festival-esque. Translation: Take the day off work.
Dubbed “The Battle of San Bernardino,” Iron Maiden, which always draws HUGE crowds in the Inland Empire, will be joined by some of the biggest names in metal, including Megadeth, Anthrax, Testament, Sabaton and Overkill.
Gates open at 2 p.m. at San Manuel Amphitheater and Overkill will play on the concourse at 3 p.m.
Tickets go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10 a.m. via Livenation.com and Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will be $25-$99.50 before fees.
Iron Maiden fan club members can get tickets starting on Wednesday, April 10.
One of my favorite shows I’ve ever photographed was when Maiden played San Manuel Amphitheater a few years ago (see photo above).
If you don’t understand why Maiden is so awesome, check out this performance of “Run to the Hills” from the “Flight 666” documentary.
Up the Irons!
