Michael Austin, of Norco, has played on a number of stages throughout the Inland Empire, including the Wagon Wheel Country Music Festival and the Brandin’ Iron Saloon, but now he’s made it into the homes of millions.
Austin, frontman of Austin Law, appeared on “The Voice” on Monday, April 8 and has joined Adam Levine’s team. His rendition of Keith Urban’s “Somebody Like You” got Maroon 5 frontman Levine and Shakira to turn around.
Fun fact about Austin: He’s a deputy sheriff for San Bernardino County.

For the fans of “The Voice” out there, the Inland Empire has been showing up repeatedly on the show. Xenia, of Temecula, was on season one of the show and was the runner-up.
