Tickets are on sale now for The Fixx and Big Country in Temecula Valley Wine Country this summer.
Big Country, now touring with Mike Peters of The Alarm, is playing Wiens Family Cellars on Friday, June 28.
Big Country has Mike Peters on vocals, original members Tony Butler (bass, vocals), Mark Brzezicki (drums, vocals) and Bruce Watson (guitar, vocals), plus guitarist Jamie Watson. Original singer Stuart Adamson committed suicide in 2001.
The band is best known for the song “In a Big Country.”
Also, another blast from the ’80s, The Fixx, is playing Saturday, July 20 at Wiens.
The Fixx’s biggest song was “One Thing Leads to Another” but “Saved By Zero” is another favorite.
Tickets for both shows are on sale at Golden Crown Productions’ website. General admission tickets are $45. VIP reserved seating with a meal is $95.
