COACHELLA 2013: Night versus day

Nighttime at Coachella can feel like a whole different festival than daytime at Coachella.

For one thing, when the sun starts to go down, the blazing heat subsides. Everyone who was baring flesh all day either covers up, huddles with someone for warmth or starts dancing.

Some people get a second wind. Other unfortunate souls realize they’ve made one too many trips to the beer tent (or fed other vices) and the night starts to go downhill.

The crowd gets bigger. So do the bands.

The art, pretty rad to begin with, lights up. So do the Ferris wheel and the palm trees. And the people who’ve decorated themselves with glow sticks.

Do you prefer daytime Coachella or nighttime Coachella?
