I’ve been at Coachella 2013 for less than three hours and I’m already seeing amazing things.
One of the most amazing is that the Shouting Matches, the blues rock project of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, finally started its set in the Gobi Tent. Actually, 20 minutes after it was supposed to start, they still seem to be sound-checking.
While I have been waiting, I have seen a man with a neon Mohawk troll wig and pink zebra pants. He is amazing.
Someone else is finding friends with a green pool noodle that has David Hasselhoff’s face on it.
I always say that it’s not Coachella until I see the Hoff, but that is not what I had in mind.
