Don’t have Coachella tickets? Festival performer Passion Pit will headline the Tachevah Block Party in Palm Springs on Wednesday, April 17 outside the Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs.
Here’s the best part: the show is free. The event will be opened by DJ Alf Alpha, who has not only performed at the Coachella Festival in the past, but also on the S.S. Coachella cruise. There will also be three unsigned bands opening after being narrowed down from 83.
The desert bands the Pedestrians, You, Me & Us, who also played weekend one of the Coachella Festival, and the Tribesmen were selected to open the show.
The event starts at 5 p.m. Wednesday, April 17 at Spa Resort Casino in Palm Springs and the music will continue past 10 p.m. There will be beer gardens, vendor booths and more.
