As I’m preparing for weekend two of Coachella, Inland Casinos blogger Stephanie Holland caught up with “The Voice” for me tonight.

Tonight’s episode featured Norco’s Michael Austin, of Austin Law.

Here’s what Steph has to say:

Norco’s Michael Austin saw his “The Voice” dreams end on tonight’s episode when Adam Levine chose South Carolina country singer Warren Stone in the second night of the battle rounds.

The two duked it out on Jason Aldean’s “My Kind of Party.” Coach Blake Shelton cast his vote for Austin saying he was “an outlaw and rougher around the edges.”

Usher heralded the heroic onstage confidence of a sheriff (Austin) and a firefighter (Stone). He said Stone gave country swag and chose Stone.

Ultimately Levine saved Stone based on the future of the competition and diversity of his voice.

Unfortunately for Austin no other coaches chose to steal him so his journey comes to an end.

Thanks to Steph again for watching.

Here’s the video of tonight’s battle. What do you think? Should Austin have won the battle?
