COACHELLA 2013: How to survive Coachella’s second weekend comfortably

I have a confession to make: on day one of the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, I made a rookie mistake. I made it nearly to the entrance when I realized I had forgotten to take my wallet out of my purse and switch it to my backpack.

While I didn’t include that in my hints for surviving Coachella more comfortably, I did think of some tips for making it through the weekend. By the way, it looks like it’s going to be way hotter than last weekend temperatures expected to reach the high 90s, according to my iPhone.

Tip one: Bring a bandana.
You might have heard about the gusting winds that blew sand and dust around the Empire Polo Club on the final day of Coachella. I wish I had remembered to bring one to tie over my nose and mouth.
Bonus: With temperatures expected to rise into the upper 90s, you can also pour water on the bandana and keep it on the back of your neck to stay cool.

Read the other tips the team and I came up with after weekend one over at the iGuide:

Bonus: One of my colleagues reviewed the portapotties at Coachella, too.
