After a warm sunset with Local Natives, Beach House made things a little darker Friday night on the Outdoor Theatre stage at the second weekend of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Quite literally the band played in sparse light, with fog machines giving the air am eerie feel for the band’s haunting dream pop.
The Baltimore band performed as a trio, with a drummer, for the live set.
Singer Victoria Legrand hid behind her hair, backlit with her silhouette appearing in front of a backdrop that looked like thin, clear tubes, non musical windchimes or a sheet of rain.
It was a good backdrop for the moody set.
