Adjacent to the “Where the Sidewalk Ends” art installation between the Coachella and Outdoor Theatre stages on the Empire Polo Club grounds, Klaudia Malta of Whittier stretched from a lamp post misting water.

Malta is celebrating her first Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

“I’m still soaking it all in,” she said.

It’s the second weekend for the festival and the misters at the Do Lab are already popular with fans.

Speaking of firsts for the festival, watching Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra for a hot minute, I saw a conga line/skanking train.

They were super fun and wisely wearing white suits in the sun.
