What was that dance rock you heard coming from the Mojave tent? Just the sounds of the wonderful Scottish band Franz Ferdinand.
Their lively set started off with “Michael” off their first album, and moved quickly into one of their new tracks “I’ll Never Get Your Bullet Out Of My Head,” which for those who dig the Ferdinand sound, is a must download.
The set moved in and out of songs from their first three albums and newer material. Som highlights included “Do You Wanna,” and “This Fire.”
About ten minutes from the end of their set, all four members contributed to one great drum solo, which broke out into their biggest hit “Take Me Out.”
Their set was what most would have expected, a fun danceable show with lots of energy exchanged between the audience and the band.
