COACHELLA 2013: So much patriotism, it could be Stagecoach

The recent bombings and mayhem in Boston, seem to have struck a nerve with the Coachella crowd, a red, white and blue nerve.

For the past two day, there have been lots of festival goers donning the American flag be it in bandana, swim trunks, or shirt form.

Ryan Ball, from Denver, wrote “Boston” on his American flag baseball cap.

“I’ve always been patriotic,” Ball said. “I may not be a Bostonian, but I am an American, so it still hits close to home.”

A few have even brought the flag, like Sarah Weston of Venice, who could be seen dancing with it outside the Gobi tent during Allen Stone’s set.

And besides, who ever said be patriotic was not hip?
