Dinosaur Jr ‘s afternoon set was like a picnic for the crowd who sat down around the Outdoor Theatre to watch the rock antics of the alternative band on the final day of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
The Massachusetts-rooted band played fuzzed out rock that included hit “Feel the Pain” and a cover of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven,” in addition to one song that J Mascis and Lou Barlow played on the first cassette they made together in their first band.
