OMD played a pitch-perfect set you could dance to without entering the Sahara Tent on the closing night of the 2013 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
“The reason why I dance like I do is so that you won’t feel foolish,” bassist/singer Andy McCluskey said.
He prefaced the bands most popular hit “If You Leave,” which was the band’s biggest hit, as saying the band was returning to electronica, which is where they started, but then Hollywood came calling.
The crowd danced and sang along with the popular song., but that was only one highlight of the outstanding set.
