Years ago, Neon Trees’ roots started in Murrieta, where guitarist Chris Allen and singer Tyler Glenn grew up.

Now, the band, which has had platinum-selling singles, toured the world with the likes of Maroon 5 and Duran Duran and played major U.S. festivals Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo, is having a huge homecoming on Saturday, June 8.

Neon Trees, which is now based in Utah, will perform at the Vista Murrieta High School Stadium.

Doors open at 6 p.m., tickets are open to the public and are $29, but are limited. You can purchase them at www.showclix.com.

The concert is tobacco, alcohol and drug-free. Leave your weapons at home, too. Get more information at the Vista Murrieta website.

Here’s a blast from the past with Neon Trees–back when they played the Hot Topic in Montclair (maybe 3 years ago, now?) and did “Sins of My Youth.”
