Eels have announced they’ll be joining Mumford and Sons festival date at San Manuel Amphitheater in Devore.
Always odd and quirky–my friends once saw a weird puppeteer open for them and that wasn’t even the weirdest part of the show–Eels is best known for the hit “Novocaine for the Soul,” but have had a strong underground following.
The band released its latest album, “Wonderful, Glorious,” in February and has been touring in Europe.
Apparently bandleader E was punched in the face by a clown named Puddles and had an air guitarist open for the band in England.
Michael Kiwanuka and Mystery Jets will also perform at the show. There are camping options available and tickets are on sale for $30, plus fees via Live Nation.
