Pappy and Harriet’s Pioneertown Palace has two major shows worth heading to the high desert for this weekend.
On Friday, May 10, it’s a celebration of all things Jim Lauderdale with the fourth annual Jimfest.
The Grammy-winning Americana icon has worked with everyone from Elvis Costello to Mary Chapin Carpenter returns to Pappy & Harriet’s for the special show. Tickets are $10 and are general admission.
Then, on Sunday, May 12, the ever-eclectic Devendra Banhart rolls into Pioneertown to wave his freak folk flag. He recently released his eighth studio album, “Mala.”
The Banhart show is outdoors and is $25 per person.
