Randy Houser is the reason we have Trace Adkins’ hit “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk.” He was one of the co-writers on the tongue-in-cheek song as well as on Justin Moore’s “Back That Thing Up.”

More importantly, he has his own collection of hits, which he will be bringing to the Brandin’ Iron in San Bernardino on Tuesday, May 14.

One of them, “Anything Goes,” drew the attention of David Letterman, who had him perform on his late night show after hearing the song on satellite radio.

“Boots On” is Houser’s biggest solo hit on the country charts, but “How Country Feels” has brought him the biggest buzz yet.

Houser has played a number of times in the Inland region, including Stagecoach Country Music Festival in Indio in 2009, the Wagon Wheel Festival in 2010, the Country Throwdown tour in Ontario in 2011 and Mount Palomar Winery in Temecula last summer.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, Brandin’ Iron Saloon, 320 South E St., San Bernardino, 909-888-7388, $15, 18 and older only. Visit www.brandinironsaloon.com for tickets and more information.
