Now we know the answer to the question “What are the dates for Coachella 2014?” The 2014 edition of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio on April 11-13 and April 18-20, 2014.
Goldenvoice announced the dates for the 2014 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Monday, May 20 by posting a new photo to its Facebook page at 9:30 a.m. (Tip of the hat to colleague Timothy Guy who caught it the moment it was posted.) A moment later, the photo was removed.
At 10 a.m. the official Coachella site posted that the 2014 advance sale starts at 10 a.m. Pacific on Friday, May 24.
You will have to register through Front Gate Tickets to participate in the pre-sale. Also, here’s a tip from the Coachella faithful–register on Front Gate BEFORE friday. Here are the links: sign up for weekend one (April 11-13) tickets and sign up for weekend two (April 18-20) passes.
A general admission pass is $349 and a VIP pass is $799. VIP parking is $150. Car camping is $85, tent camping is $85. Those prices include all fees (except international shipping charges).

One update is the shuttle passes. $60 gets you a shuttle pass good for all three days of Coachella on any shuttle line, so there’s no need to worry about changing shuttle stops, lines and/or passes. Read more about the Coachella shuttles.
The festival just wrapped its 14th year in April with performances from Wu-Tang Clan, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Phoenix and more.

Last year, the advance sale tickets sold quickly, and the allotment of VIP and general admission pre-sale passes were gone within two hours.
Coachella usually announces the festival’s lineup in January, with the remaining tickets going on sale after the full lineup announcement.
